SOCO PRS Single palletising robot – automatic palletising

New pallet pattern in 30 seconds
If the pallet pattern is already in the IPC, it takes less than 30 seconds to switch to another programme.
A new pallet pattern can easily be generated by the PalletBuilder in the SOCOLogic software in the robot IPC. Pallet patterns can also be generated using external optimisation software, such as CAPE PACK®, and can be transferred online or via USB.
Safe to operate, simple and versatile
The machine requires minimal maintenance and is easy to access.
It is equipped with safety fencing that meets CE requirements.
Greater pallet capacity – Improved freight economy
All types of cases, even heavy and bulky ones, can be stacked at heights up to 2700 mm in order to fully utilise the capacity of lorries and containers.
Stainless steel for wet environments
The robot can be supplied entirely or partially in stainless steel.
The robot has powder coated finish in RAL 2002 and RAL 9005 colours as standard. Special colours are available for at a surcharge.

SOCO PW-1000 Semi-automatic pallet stretch-wrapper

For film with or without pre-stretch. Simple and efficient machine for the everyday job. The compact size facilitates location and relocation. The PW-1000 is available for different-sized pallet loads (see table).
Safety
The sealed tower, the emergency stop as well as the safety switch built into the foot plate under the film carriage make the PW-1000 a very safe machine.
The standard equipment includes, among other things:
- Independent setting of film carriage and turntable speed, which makes it possible to fully utilize the film and to determine the extent of film overlap.
- Soft start on turntable. A great advantage where pallet loads are light or fragile. The turntable starts up slowly and then accelerates until the required speed has been reached.
- Memory stores the last used settings for the turntable and film carriage speeds.
- Program for rainproof pallet stretch-wrapping, offering efficient protection against rain and humidity (requires separate top film application).
- Automatic setting of pallet load height, a photocell registers the height of the pallet load.
- Variable number of wraps at top and bottom available upon selection (1-9).
- Independent setting of turntable and up/down speed of film carriage during operation as required.
- The option of manual operation and, with this, the possibility of choosing, for instance only top wrapping.

SOCO PW-1100 Semi-automatic pallet stretch-wrapper

With top pressure plate. The machine is equally suitable for light and heavy pallet loads. The top pressure plate moves down automatically holding the pallet load securely in place during the wrapping operation. The top pressure plate can be adjusted according to a required maximum loading height. Its travel is thus minimized, resulting in an increased capacity of the machine.
The standard equipment includes, among other things:

SOCO PW-1200 Fully-automatic pallet stretch-wrapper

PW-1200 is well suited for integration into fully automatic packaging lines. PW-1200 applies, cuts, and brushes on the film.
The standard equipment includes, among other things:
- Frequency control system which makes it possible to adjust the machine to different types of pallet loads. This offers a great advantage where pallet loads are light or perhaps fragile. The machine starts up slowly and then accelerates. Independent setting of film carriage and turntable speed.
- Signal communication for control of pallet transport to and from the turntable.
- Adjustable automatic top pressure plate. The top pressure plate can be adjusted to the current maximum load height. This ensures minimal travel of the top pressure plate and increased machine capacity.
- Driven pallet roller conveyor on turntable.
- Film alarm that automatically stops the machine and sends a signal when the film has run out or not been applied.
- Brake motor which stops the turntable in the required position.
- Pre-stretch fully utilises the film. Pre-stretch is 2:1.
Control system and operation
The PW-1200 is equipped with a unique and user-friendly control system ensuring high productivity at lowest possible costs.
The machine is easy to operate and to set to achieve optimum pallet load wrapping:
- Variable number of wraps at top and bottom upon selection (1-9).
- Independent setting of turntable and up/down movement speed of film carriage during operation.
- Current number of completed wraps is displayed on the control panel.
- Different types of control systems are available.

SOCO Rotary tables for packaging stations

A simple and cost-efficient solution to accumulation. SOCO SYSTEM’s rotary table is suitable for accumulation of e.g. retail products. The operator is free to perform other jobs, while, at the same time, interruption of the arrival of products is avoided.
Rotating on the table, the articles are constantly within easy reach. A rational workstation offering correct working conditions. A fan directs the products, and the table is prepared for side guides. The legs are height adjustable.
Diameter: Ø 1200 mm.
Height: Min. 715 mm.
Speed: Standard 6.00 rotations per minute. Upon request 3.77, 2.81 and 2.20 rotations per minute are available. Adjustable speed control can also be supplied.
The rotary table is available in three different versions:
Model A: Rotary table with plastic laminated tabletop.
Model B: Rotary table with tabletop made of solid plastic.
Model C: Rotary table in 18/8 stainless steel with tabletop made of solid plastic.
Braked castors: SOCO SYSTEM castors are of sturdy construction with efficient brakes that lock in the direction of travel and rotation.

SOCO Smooth belt for belt conveyors

SOCO SP-502 side pushers

Used to change the transport direction of cases. The items are pushed by means of “fingers” that are led up between the rollers. The “fingers” then return to their position under the top edge of the rollers. SP-502 is available in right-hand and left-hand versions. If reversal of the transport direction is required, it is easy to move the bar and to change the rotation of the motor.
