    SOCO Pallet magazine PalManager High – Ready for MiR AMR

    The pallet magazine is used for stacking of up to 24 pallets or as a pallet magazine from where MiR can collect one pallet at a time. The pallet magazine is prepared for communication with MiR, and together they form a fully automatic pallet flow, e.g. in connection with transport to or from warehouse or as part of a fully automatic palletising system.

    Pallet magazine PalManager High is prepared for MiR with MiR EU Pallet Lift or with MiR Pallet Lift for closed pallets.

    SOCO Pneumatically tiltable packaging table

    Table can be tilted 20°. Offers a good working position during filling of cases. The tilt table functions as a packaging table with an incline. The table is tilted by means of a compressed air cylinder operated by means of a foot pedal. The pneumatic tilt table is as standard delivered with rollers but is also available with plate.

    The tilt table is available in two different versions:

    Model A: Items will be directed straight forward after filling.

    Model B: Items will be directed to the side after filling (see this model under features).

    • Round items that are difficult to pack in cases are easily packed on a tilt table.
    • Space saving solution. The tilt table can be mounted immediately in front of a semi-automatic case sealer.

    The flexible double robot has two pallet positions that can be utilised in several ways.

    No waiting time during pallet change
    The modular robot can palletise the same product onto two pallets. When one pallet is full, the robot automatically starts to palletise on the second pallet, allowing plenty of time to remove the first full pallet and replace it with an empty pallet.

    Product sorting
    The double robot can palletise two different products – one on each pallet. The two different products can arrive on the same infeed conveyor. Photocells or other sensor equipment will then tell the robot what product is to be palletised onto which pallet.

    Double line operation
    The double robot can handle two different products that arrive to the robot on two separate infeed conveyors – one from each production line. The robot takes each product to its own pallet.

    New pallet pattern in 30 seconds
    If the pallet pattern is already in the IPC, it takes less than 30 seconds to switch to another programme.

    A new pallet pattern can easily be generated by the PalletBuilder in the SOCOLogic software in the robot IPC. Pallet patterns can also be generated using external optimisation software, such as CAPE PACK®, and can be transferred online or via USB.

    Safe to operate, simple and versatile
    The machine requires minimal maintenance and is easy to access.
    It is equipped with safety fencing that meets CE requirements.

    Greater pallet capacity – Improved freight economy
    All types of cases, even heavy and bulky ones, can be stacked at heights up to 2700 mm in order to fully utilise the capacity of lorries and containers.

    The robot has powder coated finish in RAL 2002 and RAL 9005 colours as standard. Special colours are available for at a surcharge.

    Safety
    The sealed tower, the emergency stop as well as the safety switch built into the foot plate under the film carriage make the PW-1000 a very safe machine.

    The standard equipment includes, among other things:

    • Independent setting of film carriage and turntable speed, which makes it possible to fully utilize the film and to determine the extent of film overlap.
    • Soft start on turntable. A great advantage where pallet loads are light or fragile. The turntable starts up slowly and then accelerates until the required speed has been reached.
    • Memory stores the last used settings for the turntable and film carriage speeds.
    • Program for rainproof pallet stretch-wrapping, offering efficient protection against rain and humidity (requires separate top film application).
    • Automatic setting of pallet load height, a photocell registers the height of the pallet load.

    With top pressure plate. The machine is equally suitable for light and heavy pallet loads. The top pressure plate moves down automatically holding the pallet load securely in place during the wrapping operation. The top pressure plate can be adjusted according to a required maximum loading height. Its travel is thus minimized, resulting in an increased capacity of the machine.

    The standard equipment includes, among other things:

    • Independent setting of film carriage and turntable speed makes it possible to fully utilize the film and to determine the extent of film overlap.

    PW-1200 is well suited for integration into fully automatic packaging lines. PW-1200 applies, cuts, and brushes on the film.

    The standard equipment includes, among other things:

    • Frequency control system which makes it possible to adjust the machine to different types of pallet loads. This offers a great advantage where pallet loads are light or perhaps fragile. The machine starts up slowly and then accelerates. Independent setting of film carriage and turntable speed.
    • Signal communication for control of pallet transport to and from the turntable.
    • Adjustable automatic top pressure plate. The top pressure plate can be adjusted to the current maximum load height. This ensures minimal travel of the top pressure plate and increased machine capacity.
    • Driven pallet roller conveyor on turntable.
    • Film alarm that automatically stops the machine and sends a signal when the film has run out or not been applied.
    • Brake motor which stops the turntable in the required position.
    • Pre-stretch fully utilises the film. Pre-stretch is 2:1.

    Control system and operation
